Sports Mouth Guards at Wellington Quay Dental Centre

To protect your teeth and your children's teeth from damage when taking part in certain sports or leisure activities*, it is important to wear a proper sports mouth guard. Universal ones can be bought in sports stores and some of these can be softened in hot water to make them fit better.

However, we strongly recommend you consult with us for a sports guard that will protect your mouth and teeth properly and will be comfortable to wear. First we will assess what sort of guard you need. Usually they protect only the upper teeth but in some cases we'll recommend a guard for your lower teeth too.

We will then take an impression of your teeth and send it to a professional dental laboratory for an accurate mouth guard to be made to the same high standards as the dentures we fit. A mouth guard supplied by us will be comfortable, durable and easy to maintain.
